A 4-rail Mil-standard 1913 type mount for an AR starts at around 150.00 for the least expensive aluminium model (I do not reccomend the plastic models which cost 100$ or less.), and from there prices rise in increments until the damn thing costs as much or more than the rifle!
I haven't seen an ad for a shotgun mounting system for many years. - I think they kind-of appeared, looked more practical than they turned out to be, and faded back away after everyone decided that while the idea sounded great, the AR with an 870 attached was a true handfull to wield, being quite cumbersome due not only to the weight of two weapons, but due to the bulkiness of the package, measuring around ten inches or more from the bottom of the 870's pistol grip to the top of the AR's carry handle.
Your best bet might be to check with :
A) Numerich Arms Corp.
B) The Gun Parts Corp.
They might still have the adapter kits.
You can get a great used 870 in great shape for 250$ if you shop around at gun shows, gun shops, and pawn shops.
Get one without a vent-rib, and have the bbl. cut to 18.5" and get a breaching-rod which replaces the magazine cap. Breaching bbl.'s are also avalible from Wilson Combat, Which use a muzzle device rather than a breaching-rod spacer, but the won't be cheap.

i might say spare magazines. probable a amazing leather-based militia style aim sling (assuming it quite is an entire length AR rifle). i opt to propose no longer "junking-up" your rifle. Folksbuyy those issues and then connect picatiny rails and all varieties of do-dads that they think of "seem quite cool". What they finally end up with is a cumbersome gun it relatively is relatively usable.

cant be done legaly..the shot gun barrel is too long ..and its a waste of time..the weight of the shot gun ..would be better carried in ammo for the ar...one gun and pently of ammo..
