Chex Party Mixes, Rice Krispy Treats, Brownies, Cupcakes, Veggie Trays (remember Ants on a Log? That is just celery sticks, peanut butter and raisins), Fruit Slices, Chili (Mild and spicy versions) ... just about any home-made treat is good for a youth party. There are also plenty of recipes for mixtures of juices, 7-up and icecream for a non-alcoholic punch for this age too. Another good treat -- Hot Cocoa, Hot Apple Cider (very easy to make).

Everyone likes chips.

If you want something a little more fancy, you can make your own little "pizza bites"

All you need is" Mini english muffins, grated cheese (you can grate it yourself) pepperoni (you can buy anywhere, Ralphs, even Whole Foods) and some Marinara Sauce.

Cut the muffins in half. Top with Sauce, cheese and a few pepperonis.

Put them in the oven at 150 degrees for maybe, two minutes. Or until the cheese has completely melted.

They are ready to serve.

If you dont want to hassle with the oven, just pop em into the microwave.
