There are several ways if you are a citizens you can get married and wait for her papers to arrive until then she has to stay in her own country. ( you might have to go back there yourself for the interviews)
2--- She can come here on a tourist visa and you can get married here. Which can be more convinient but there are still things you have to consider
3---Apply for a fiance visa. It takes some time but it works after she arrives here you have about 90 days to get married or her visa will be revoked
Good luck

I have had several US citizen friends marry in Mexico, Dominican Republic and India. Their spouses stayed in their native countries until permission was granted by the US. All three cases were resolved within 12-18 months. Just be patient.

If he is legally married in Brazil then she will be approved provided that her character is not in question. The reality here is he is having an affair with you and married men do not leave wives who have given them children. Regardless if she comes to the US or not he will leave her for you. Best advice is move on and find someone else.

Yes you need to wait for approval of a spouse visa before your wife can join you in the US.
Or you can file for a Fiance Visa, which allows her to come to the US to get married and reside with you while waiting for her greencard to be approved. (Usually a faster process than a spouse visa).

She should stay until your K-visa i.e. fiancee visa is approved. Hell what's a few more months. You don't want to screw it up. As soon as she gets here you better marry her fast, she only has 90 days to get married or otherwise she turns into a pumpkin.
Patience is a virtue.

Absolutely. If you bring her over without approval, she could be deported and not be able to return for years. Try to be patient and do this the legal way. This country has very strict laws about things like that.

Unless she has another way to get to the U.S., like being from a visa waiver country like the UK, then yes.
