my friend told me that she have a headache outside of her head, not inside and her ear is ringing...anybody know what's wrong?

If over the counter headache medication doesn't work... See doctor. It could possibly be water behind the eardrum.
If he finds nothing and she still has the problem have her check with her dentist for a possible dental problem. Believe it or not teeth troubles can cause ear and head pain.

Ear infection, or could be a build-up of wax in the canal. The side of your head is probably pulsating...Normally a truly infected ear is just,or if not, more pain than a tooth-ache...
I had an ear ache so bad that Iwas screaming. Went to ER. What I had was a "fungus" on eardrum that I got at the beach in Florida, plus a 1/4 inch build up of wax underneath. When they placed that "raincoat" over me and went to work, and when it was over it was like a cement truck off my shoulders. I was free of pain instantely. I got to see what came out of my ear canal, but believe me you don't want to hear about it.

I'm a stickler for never diagnosing others because I would hate to give someone the possible wrong anwer and something bad happens. I would suggest that you talk to a professional about those symptons if they persist.

She might want to see a docter and get that checked it sounds like it could be some thing serious but it also could be lack of sleep and all she really should get that checked though did she say that she got hit or anything or fell
