Ok, so I have one teacher (one, not a bunch) that wants a doctor's note for me being absent and skipping his final. The good thing is that I really was sick, and I visited her BUT I forgot to ask for a note. Yes, I realize that was very idiotic of me, but most of the teachers are fine without it (and so was he in the past) so I was nothing short of SHOCKED when he asked for it today so I can take the finals tomorrow.

My doctor would not return until the 27th out of vacation reasons, and the teacher wants the note by tomorrow!!! How can I possibly get through this fiasco! D:

update: I went to the doctor's office (like many of you suggested), and an associate doctor who saw me waiting yesterday was kind enough to write the note on "behalf" of the physician that saw me. Thank you for support! ^^

I would go back there and ask the receptionist for a note and have her explain that the doctor is currently on vacation. If you really did visit then they will have you in their database.

If you have a receipt from his office this should do. Your physicians phone number should be on there and just tell the teacher to call. You didn't mention your age but if your in high school parents can help you out on this one.
If your in college just tell him the truth show him the receipt and if he/she doesn't believe you head to the Dean's office. All the teacher needs to do is call your Doctors office.

Have your parents write a note or call explaining the whole situation. That's the only way I can see out of it. Or forge a note. But that's lying, and you could get in even more trouble for that.

Well you can have your parents write a note and attach a copy of the bill to it.

You can...just tell her he's away and he'll do one then. Relax.
