Some people are in love with their cars and others are in love with people. So tell me this what do you hold most high in your life? And another thing do you believe in real love and if not why?

I hold cooking most highly in my life it is the only thing that can excite, relax, and even entice me, as for true love i dont really know i mean if there is such a thing there are a lot of unhappy people out there cause with seven billion people on the planet what are the odds you actually meet the one thats perfect for you.

My husband is extremely ill. He is what I hold most high in my life. We both love each other immensely. Real love returns to you like a breeze on the wing of an angel.

I believe in real love alright, i love real if that makes sense, i just dont believe in the people we fall in love with.
I would say loving people but then if people hurt you soo much you love your car or computer which makes you happy and dont crush your bruised heart.

well depends you are talking about a community of 6 billion people in the whole world! so it's difficult to mention who values what. yes, i believe in true love but i question it based on the basic human instinct that always wants to reproduce. as far as i think the basic purpose driving relationships is sex it's is the fundametal foundation but isn't visualized until it's happens or never be seen

I value my personal relationships the most - my family, my friends, my partner.
I do believe in real love, as I have experienced it, and I truly believe love is one of the few ways we can as human beings "heal" ourselves of our past, very distant past, emotional hurts that we experienced as children.
Love, at least in the context of a partner, a spouse, what have you--love is the desire to want for that person the same spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth that you want for yourself.
Love has the ability to heal us. It sounds corny, but I believe it. It has happened to me. When we have intimate relationships with another person, in a truly loving and nurturing manner, we begin to see ourselves as that person sees us. In other words, our image is reflected back to us through their eyes. That is what is healing. It is as if by loving another person, we are also falling back in love with ourselves. Healing ourselves. Growing emotionally. And this reflection, this ability to see ourselves as our partner sees us, can help us move past the pain of our younger lives, the pain that was caused to us by our parents or caregivers, because of course no parents are perfect and we all carry wounds (whether concious of them or not) from our distant past as children.
Over the years, however, I have come to realize that this kind of healing, restorative, nurturing love can be attained only through intimate day-to-day contact, such as in a marriage or situation where the two partners live together in the same household. It is this day-to-day intimacy, acceptance, if you will, that brings about the process of genuine transformation.

i believe in true love because after i have experienced the worst of the male gender, i have found someone that completes me in everyway. he treats me like a queen and makes me feel special. when you find someone that makes you feel like you are the best of everything its a beautiful thing!
