Depends on wheteher or not. If your rich, its the PS3. Otherwise, you better settle down for the Nintendo Wii. im not rich, just to let you know....

No not really, unless you either
A. Love games that are exclusive to PlayStation, MGS, Ridge Racer, Final Fantasy, ect.
B. Are rich.
Other then that, Xbox 360 has almost every gane ps3 will have, if not more and some nice exclusive, and does in fact have the same power as the ps3, depspite there "Cell" technology, and Blu Ray. Plus Xbox Live is pretty good oppose to ps3 make a new name for every online game.

Be smart. wait for all the commotion to settle down and the stores to have plenty in stock. In fact, bu next fall, I bet you can get one slightly used for half the price.

NO THEY ARE NOT WORTH THEIR MONEY THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN PS3'S AND PS2'S OTHER THAN A SLIGHT GRAPHICS ADVANCE AND THE PRICE LOL
