We don't have lockers at our school, and I need some SERIOUS convincing.

So they don't have to carry all those books to every class. It is bad for their backs.

Because they could hide their drugs or weapons inside the locker. Or even a bomb... Thats how lockers got restricted from my old school. Someone said that there were bombs planted through out the school lockers and there were so many lockers and no bomb was found and that was the 5th time that happened and the lockers are now going to be taken out to make more room through the school.

In my middle school, we weren't allowed to carry around backpacks. Lockers stored them for us, and it lightens the load off your back a LOT. Lockers don't take up much space in the hallways either. Students can store their cell phones in lockers to reduce classroom interuption by the phone. Lockers help students get more organized by setting time aside to go to their locker, organizing books inside the locker, etc.

They should not have lockers. where I live they took out school lockers all to gather. kids concealed, guns, drugs etc. the damaged or broke into lockers if they were mad at another, they caused traffic jams in hallways at class change and over all cost more to repair them. more cons that pros for lockers
kids use backpacks with wheels

So that you don't have to carry so much stuff around wherever you go. I don't know about YOU, but if i didn't have a locker i would have had serious back surgery by now.

schools are different plus having a locker is better for your back. dont be jealous cuz your school doesnt have any

i am in 6th grade (my elemetary school has 6 grades)
and we have lockers,small lockers but lockers.I think evrtybody sod have lockers!!!otherwise were sood we put our stuff?

I will you my daughter back pack weighs about 30 pounds..Its way to heavy for her to carry she needs a place for her books.

So they are not carrying around all their books at once. When you get into Jr. high, the books get bigger and heavier, too heavy to carry all the time.
