I agree with moonfairy. He was not created, he just is. I believe our minds are too small to comprehend the mysteries associated with God, but I intend to find out all when I go to Him when my existance on this earth is over.

Well I bet I will stir up the pot here, but oh well. Some people believe that God was once like we are, he had to live through a life of tests and he achieved perfection. He became God, he was able to create worlds, it is believed by some that we have the potential to become like him. It is also believed that there are many other worlds like earth in other galaxies where people are going through mortal trials just like we are. It is a very profound question.... and to think about it is fascinating. So maybe God was created, like us. Who knows the true answer. I am sure that one day we will all find out and say, Oh yeah that makes sense!

Impossible to answer, have to ask him when you die.
You'll get loads of idiots saying "der he was always here since da start of time". They don't realise that something that powerfull cant come from nothing. If you think about it its impossible that we are here. As like with god, what created the materials that made the big bang? if they were always there as gases then why were they there in the first place and what caused that and so on...
Really is strange, only smart people think of this question well done :)

God never has the beginning of his existence as well he will never have the end of his existence.
He is the Creator of every things while we are his creation,
we need to sleep, and so he does not need to sleep!
we need to eat, and so does not need to eat.
We need a protection, and so does not need any protection fronm any his creation.

He has always been. Thats what makes him Almighty God. If he had a creator his creator would be more powerful and thats not possible, because our creator is the most powerful that ever was and ever will be.
