It replaced into in no way codified via regulation, E pluribus unum ("out of many, one") replaced into considered a de facto motto of the united states till 1956 whilst the united states Congress handed an act (H.J. decision 396), adopting "In God We have faith" through fact the expert motto. So, your question's premise is defective.

No. It is just another way to take God out of our culture. Eventually people will forget what "E pluribus unum" means, they will forget god. Why are people constantly pushing God out of our culture. Believe what you want, but let the rest of us have our beliefs as well. Why is God so offensive? It is getting pushed because we are being told to get rid of God. It feels like a threat to our belief system. We use to pray in schools. Why did we have to get rid of that? Why couldn't it be a few moments of silence to think what you want about anything. It didn't have to be about a specific God or belief. Why do we have to discard everything (pray, 10 commandments, god, merry christmas, ect. ) for a few who believe in nothing?
Really 90% in America don't believe in God. I would like to know where you get your facts. Should we be a faceless society that is not allowed to have open beliefs? God is not "everywhere" or on everything. If it is so offensive live somewhere else, preferably in a communist country.

What does E pluribus unum mean? If it's a Christian thing also it should not be used.

no, very few people in america know latin. it wouldn't make sense to have our motto be in a dead language that no one knows how to even pronounce lol. the "in god we trust" is crap too because many of us do not believe in god, therefore trust not in "him/her/it/them/whatever..." so yes, change it, but into something else. how about "i got rich so that you don't have to." or "yum, oil tastes of chicken! so do humans, i hear..." or something more patriotic... don't misunderstand me, i am glad to live in america, but not always so proud of the way we behave.
EDIT:
to the one below feeling like "our" beliefs are being pushed out and trampled. i would like to remind you that WE DO NOT ALL BELIEVE IN GOD. so whereas you think that we should have god written on everything, it is offensive to those of us who do not believe in him, or think that the belief in him is bad for society. how would you like to see the name Ra written on everything, or Zeus, or Santa Claus, or Satan? you would be offended. "In Santa Claus we trust." THAT is why we don't want God written everywhere... how can a country's motto reflect less than 90% of the population's actual beliefs?

CAVEAT EMPTOR , "let the buyer beware": sounds more suitable a motto for today's United States. 'Cause nobody's buying what we're trying to sell the world any more!
