Yes it would. But let me put this to you, the amount of energy required to chew off the skin, swollow and digest it would be far greater then the energy given by the skin itself. Also the amount of nutirents required to regrow the skin over the blister and the scab is even higher. Hope this helps.

i really dont think anyone would have an answer for that. why would u want to do that though. yucky!! i do know, even though it doesnt have anything to do with this, but the bristish tested this: if u have like a runny nose or sumthin, and u sallow it, u can atcually boost ur immune system. the only thing i can think of with ur scab, is it will probly get infected if u do this with ur mouth. but, heck, try it, who knows maybe it will work!
