No. I don't think true Christians hate anyone. I certainly don't hate atheists or non-believers. I love them just as I do my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We just want non-believers or atheists to have the same love and joy in their hearts that we have since we have come to know Christ. While it might be misinterpreted by some, it is not hate, it is love.

The ability to hate is not restricted to those with thiestic/athiestic beliefs. Hate is an expression of intolerance for anothers personal choices. One day I hope we will be able to respect other peoples personal beliefs and not feel the need to belittle them. Not likely in our lifetime though.

That's funny you should ask. As a Christian I haven't exprienced anything but hate and disrespect from atheists but I understand why.
I represent something that makes you squirm and uneasy. There's no more reason to hate you for being atheist than there is to hate a retarded person for being retarded. You just can't help it.

It is not Christian-Like to hate anyone. It's not our place to judge. We are taught to love everyone. Don't over generalize by saying that we "all" hate atheist.

Here's a good one.....best answer you will get....and coming from someone who's non-denominational....it will shed some light....it is best not to hate at all...even atheists or anyone else who might not have the same beliefs as you......hate is a seed...once planted, it will grow....and eventually the seed will become like a vine, choke your happiness out.....and ultimately only degrade you in the process....hatred is one emotion I choose not to posess.....every time I find myself hating ANYONE or ANYTHING....I stop myself in my tracks.....who cares if there are Atheists?....who cares?.....there are hundreds and hundreds of religions/beliefs out there....just stick with your own....go with what YOUR God says....personally I think there is only one God....and just be HAPPY.....Bless you!

No, it is not Christian-like to hate atheist. The Bible says we should love others and to be a light unto the unbeleivers so that we may win souls for Christ.

Hate is a very powerful word. We should not use it like this, we dislike certain people or dislike what they do but I think hate is really too much. We should not hate people for what they believe but sometimes we dislike their beliefs.
