I got a speeding ticket 2 months ago in GA on 400 North. The officer gave me 11 over and did not put any points on my liscense. This is my first speeding ticket ever. I failed to pay the fine or appear in court. What happens now? Can I still pay the ticket with a late fee? Some of my friends told me they have a warrant out for my arrest, so I am scared. I am willing to pay the ticket with a late fee, just wondering how do I go about with this now?

Pay the ticket by check or credit card. After about a week or two call the court clerk and ask about your ticket. If they tell you that you have a warrant out then ask them to clear it since the ticket has been paid. If you go into the police station now and ask they WILL arrest you. Since it is a failure to appear warrant they may not allow you to post bond and leave. It is better to get it paid without contacting any official office (hope you still have the original ticket and envelope). Even if the warrant is not cleared, as long as you get a receipt/credit card bill showing it is paid I think you will be ok going in to the courthouse to clear it up.

First, if you think $4,300 is expensive, wait for the renewal. I expect it will be twice that if they don't drop you. You had 4 speeding tickets inside of two days when I stopped reading your run-on question. If you fail to pay your tickets or appear in court at the appointed time you will be charged with failure to appear and your license will be immediately suspended. By the time it is all done you will be barely able to afford to take the bus much less drive a BMW that you probably should not be driving. One ticket for driving without insurance does not prevent future tickets as you have learned. You are lucky, in some states they tow the car and you walk home. If you appear in court with your insurance papers, the court *might* be willing to drop those tickets. The speeding and tint tickets you will not beat.

A bench warrant was issued for your arrest for failure to appear. If you don't call the courthouse and make arrangements to pay it you're going to be in worse trouble when a cop runs your tag and sees an outstanding warrant then takes you to jail. Then you have to post bail and pay the fine anyway. Just call them!!!

You probably have a warrant for Failure to Appear (FTA)
call the recorder's court in whatever county you got picked up and explain that you've made a horrible mistake, and you want to fix it.
Generally, they'll recall the warrant and place you on the next calendar call date.
Don't panic.
Breathe.
It's waaaay better to turn yourself in (so to speak) than have us find you.

It's too late now. There Is a warrent for Failure to appear. You can't just pay it off now.. You will have to go to court to clarify, the situation.

Go to the police station, tell them what happened. If they want to arrest you for not paying your fine, then let them arrest you. Nothing OMFG is going to happen. You should've paid it.
