It would be very difficult to pick up these stations from Australia. It would be possible with a very large beverage antenna and a super sensitive receiver at night, when it was night both in LA (or Phoenix) and Australia provided you were in an area with very little electrical noise. It would not be something you'd be able to hear all the time and only die hard AM DX enthusiasts would try it (or be able to afford trying it!). It appears KLAC streams online from their website:
http://www.570klac.com

Perhaps some of the stations in Phoenix do as well.
Also it appears you can pay to hear all the NBA games on their website http://www.nba.com so you might want to look into that.

Also about XM suggestion, XM will NOT work in Australia, sorry! It's Sirius that has the NBA games anyway, and that doesn't work in OZ either.

Do you know if they have a website? Many radio stations play their music online from their website. Also, if you have iTunes, you can look up Sports from the Radio section of iTunes and problably find something like what you're looking for. Good luck!

Many radio stations stream audio over the web. Specifically for the NBA, you can sign up on their website (www.nba.com) to receive all of the games live.
