We enjoy watching other people humiliate themselves on Reality TV, we enjoy watching the World's Most Extreme Accidents, because it is very entertaining to watch people get hurt, we enjoy watching sexy people on TV because it arouses the senses.... It is drilled in our heads that we are supposed to be filthy rich, and live in phat *** cribs, and sleep with beautiful women, and if we don't we're just nothin' in life.... The root of all this is selfishness... Our selfish desires.. It is much easier to think for one self, with no concern for other people in society. It's more benificial for us to work toward our dream of becoming rich, than to give a lazy man a buck on the street (which I also consider a vice)... But as for the crazy people on the streets, they should be evaluated and taken care of... It is self satisfying to bang that hot chick... Or to score with that hot guy in that nice car.... Everyone wants to be "successful" (by the media's terms) in life, and that means putting yourself first, and not giving a care about other people's humiliation, other people's pain in their accidents, not helping your man on the street... Then there are those who just don't want to work... They give into the vice of laziness.... It's a very fine line walking the good path. You have to live in the medium... We all either find it easier to live in the extreme of laziness, or the extreme of wanting things, or you could be a lazy person who wants things but is unsuccessful... Well, I must say.. I think evil seems to be the best entertainment because it is the easiet form of entertainment.. It is self satisfying. It is easiest to be selfish.

I disagree with your whole premise.

Is mountain biking evil? Hiking? Making or listening to music? Painting pictures?

These are all ways we entertain ourselves, and I'd consider these activities the exact opposite of evil.

Aren't you really trying to say that you find some forms entertainment vulgar or offensive, therefore it is evil in your eyes?

And the fact that you consider evil entertainment to be the "best" is a strange thing unto itself.

Evil allows a person to act on their emotions.
So things like lust, theft, power over others, appeals to those whose emotions are number one to them.
Evil allows a person to be inward, not caring for anyone but themselves.

Good works comes from being outward, caring more for the good of others than they are for themselves.

To wrap this up, Evil allows people to be egotists, Good works come out of egoists.

An egotist is wrapped up in serving themselves.
An egoist is a self-sacrificing person.
