Since they're constantly exposed to the elements, they need to be lubed once in a while. The best way to do this is to use the Mopar zipper cleaner and lubricant on them part #5066440AA available at your local dealer.

If you are having trouble getting them to zip, try rubbing a bar of soap along the teeth to lubricate them. It's a lot less messy than oil and works pretty good. The only way to go is with a hard top in the winter and soft top in summer, that way you only have to deal with them for part of the year.

because all sorts of salts/road debris and bugs get stuck in the zipper tracks and over time ruins the seal and makes it hard to zipper whichs makes it fly off on the highway and let the outside elements in

they fly off and rain comes in they always rip, they don't keep u warm in the wintertime.
