Ive been purchasing these white chew bones for my puppy. He's a pom, about 5months old now. He enjoys it very much but just this very moment i just saw a whole tooth fell off. Is he still too young and his teeth are still weak? Or Should I stop giving him the bone and wait til he gets a bit older, maybe his teeth will get stronger? Or not give it to him at all?

He is just teething, which is totally normal. I would keep giving him something to chew on or else he will start to chew on things that he shouldn't. Also, there may be some blood on the bone that he chews on, but that is okay too.

Hi! I have a puppy, half pom, also 5 months old. Don't worry, it's just about the time he is changing his teeth (just as mine). If you look in his mouth, you should see the new tooth growing out.
Oh yes, and remember to NOT to take the bone away. Puppies need good things to bite on, especially when they're changing teeth! Good luck w. ur pom! angell.

some people are going to make you feel like a moron for how dangerous they are, I don't agree w/ them. they do need to be monitored b/c they can be dangerous if your dog swollows one whole. they can choke on them or they can cause an intestinal blockage. But if you monitor themadn how mucht ehy get they should be safe. The tooth is probably a baby tooth. He is @ the age he is probably teething and you will see more of this. However I have heard of poms and other small dogs that will chew on rawhids until their gums bleed.

Your pom is still rather young and is most likely just loosing his baby teeth, much like humans dogs also loose baby teeth and their adult teeth will grow in. I would say go ahead and continue giving him the treats so long as he is not loosing too many teeth at one time he should be just fine.

My dog loves Dingos. They have meat flavor in the middle. They are also very healthy for dogs. I'm pretty sure they come in different sizes because my dog is a toy poodle. Your dog is gonna probably gonna be bigger than mine, but they should work for you to. All those healthy bones like the green ones, im not sure what they are called sorry. Anyways, most dogs don't like those. Also, pig ears can be REALLY bad for your dog. So I wouldn't feed your dog them. Hope I helped a little!! Good luck!

Check with your Vet but I would guess that was probably just a baby tooth that needed to come out. Dogs need to chew and chew during the first year of life to keep their mouth healthy.

It is okay. He is teething. He is going to loose his baby teeth. It is better that he chew bones than chew furniture or other things. He will soon get his adult teeth to replace those lost.
