i give great advice sometimes, but can never follow it myself?

Advice is based on reason and the facts presented by the person who asks for advice.
When it's your own personal situation, you have to factor in feelings, personality, previous experiences, and unexpressed hopes and fears that might influence you to pick the "wrong" choice.

This happens to all of us. I can answer 50 peoples' questions a day but never seem to be able to follow the responses I get. Sigh.

me and you both homie!! i like to think that i give wonderful advice, but when it comes to me taking my own advice it doesn't work out. i think its because when we give advice to others we're outside looking in and can see the things that will help the situation. however when it comes to us we don't have that insight so we don't think the advice that we so freely give applies to us. i hope this helps you!!

why is it that i posted a damn question and still dont see it on here? oh sorry, your question. um, because thats the way we are. we have no problem telling others what to do or how to do it but when it comes to ourselves, its a different story.

i think that happens to everybody, that's what happens to me, i always give my friends advise for there dates but its really heard for me to follow them.
