Yes, it will hurt. It depends upon each individual's pain tolerance and the location.

This has been solved time after time.

Can we finally settle this one, PLEASE?

people keep asking because they are too lazy to read the questions already asked and it's easier to just type the question in. and give us 2 points at that.

I guess they wanna hear that it won't hurt, HA.

I don't think it's that bad at first if your used to it, and have already been tattooed a few times, you know what your getting into. However after a few hours of being inked, your body will use up all it's endorphins and you will start to go into shock, you will know when this happens, your legs will shake uncontrollably and your feeling of this ain't so bad will change to, F**K how much longer is this gonna go on for. Make sure you eat well before hand don't get tattooed hungry, don't drink it will thin your blood, the ink will bleed out and you'll have to go back and get your tatt touched up. Be patient and treat it well during the healing process, and all will be good.

I have 14 tattoos and all of them hurt. And yes, some places hurt worse than others. The areas on your body that get more wear-and-tear tend to hurt less, like the outside (not inside) of your arms. My ribs were almost unbearable, but my arms just felt like someone was scraping their nails across real hard.

But what do you expect? They're needles poking you thousands of times and it's permanent. But after it's over you'll be happy.

Because people get nervous and they have no similar experience to relate the process to.
Reading about other people's questions isn't quite the same as asking about your fears yourself and having knowledgeable and helpful people to talk to *you* about their personal experiences and share words of wisdom.
Childbirth obviously hurts too (and more), but first-time mothers still look for people with experience to relate and talk to and they will inevitably ask if it hurts even though they have heard the answer before.
It is just human nature.

Maybe they want to know a specific spot or would like to just hear others expierences. I dont think theres nothing wrong with that. I think its pretty normal. I remember being a virgin and asking everyone what thier first time was like. Not because...I really had no idea...but just to hear thier expierences. Something like that...

The last tatoo I got, there was a big sign on the wall that said "yes it hurts"

Because they are afraid of the pain. I am terrified of needles myself, so all my piercings and my tat had to do with over coming a fear. I passed out when i got my belly button done (I know, pussy) But people are afraid of the unknown
