Quit talking to her. Time will heal your wounds, talking to her won't.

I think she is trying to move on with her life which is most definitely what you should do. You have spent 4 years of your lives together and for numberous reasons, it didn't work. According to your description of the relationship, you seem like a very caring, patient, and loving guy. Don't let those beautiful qualities go to waste because you're trying to hold on to something that doesn't want to be held. If she wants to continue to be friends, and you can handle her in that capacity, then be friends. But if you know you're going to want more from her than she's willing to give, then my suggestion would be to cut of any type of social interaction.
Good luck sweetie!

Well I do not think it was "all lies" taht she said she'd get you a present. Seems to be she is going through the difficulty/hardship of a break up and her being anorexic isn't helping either. Psychologically, she sounds a bit off kilter but all you can do is be there for her. If the relationship is not mutual, then do not continue to seek it out. It's hard but you will move past it.
Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Leave her alone. I think you'll be happier and better off if you do.
