I'd pick Norton in an upset. The reason? The quality of opposition fought. Yes Norton was knocked out by a 24 yr old in his prime George Foreman, known as the hardest punching heavyweight of all time. But Norton fought in the golden era of the heavyweight division, the 1970's. Lewis' style plays right into Norton's hands, why? because Lewis preferred to box not bang. The fighters that gave Norton trouble were sluggers that came right at you. Many would think that Lewis would have a huge size advantage. I don't think so. Norton was big heavy weight himself( 6'3" or 4" 225 to 230). Another reason for picking Norton is that Lewis has a glass jaw, as evidenced by being KO ed by two fringe heavyweights, Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman. Norton wins this fight by early round KO or split decision.

I would have to say Lennox Lewis because of the size difference. I thought Norton was an above average heavyweight in his day, but he seemed to have problems with taller, heavier fighters. Foreman destroyed Norton, and Foreman would have been smaller than Lewis. Since both would be in top condition and in their primes, I'd have to go with Lewis.

I think it depends on which style Lennox decides to fight. Would he be aggressive and go after Norton like he did Ruddock and Golata? Or would he lay back and use his jab and and fight defensively? Lewis was bigger, had a good jab and right hand and if he decides to go right at Norton like Foreman did, he had the power in his right hand to knock Kenny out. But if he lets Norton bring the fight to him, he could be in trouble because Lennox didn't exactly have the greatest chin and while Norton wasn't a devastating puncher like Foreman, he had enough pop on his shots to hurt Lennox and possibly stop him. I suspect that Lennox would want to establish his jab and strong right hand early in this fight and try to get Kenny out of there. He probably would try to back Norton up and make Norton fight in retreat. Both men would land some good punches but i see Lennox catching Norton with right hands and uppercuts, a punch that i think Norton would be susceptible to.with his cross arm defense and the right uppercut being one of Lennox best (and underrated) punches. After some anxious moments for Lennox, i think he finally stops Norton in round 7.

NORTON - W 42 (KO's 32) TF 50 - W pct 84% - KO pct 64% - wins over Cobb, J. Quarry, Bobick, Young and Ali - KO'ed by Foreman, Shavers and Cooney (all in 1st or 2nd rd)
He was originally scheduled to play "Apollo Creed".
Overrated as a fighter because of his 3 tough bouts with Ali that includes Norton breaking Ali's jaw and one great fight that he with Holmes.
Father of football player, Ken Norton Jr.
He was a paper champion: he was given the WBC title because Ali chose to fight Spinks.

The outcome of this fight depends on what Lewis shows up for this bout. Lewis can win as long as it is not the Lewis that showed up against McCall or Raham. People say that Lewis had a glass jaw the same could be said of Norton. Lewis in a 5 rd KO.
