ARMSTRONG - W 151 (KO's 100) TF 182 - W pct 83% - KO pct 55% - wins over Jenkins, Ross, Ambers and Masey -KO'ed by Zivic - #2 ranked fighter
Only man to hold 3 titles simultaneously - 126, 135 and 147

PRYOR - W 39 (KO's 35) TF 40 - W pct 98% - KO pct 88% - wins over Arguello[2], Cervantes, D. Johnson and L. Blackmore - KO'ed by B. Young - #35 ranked fighter
He should be ranked in the 100 greatest as a puncher
Drugs probably cost him greatness as a fighter

Normally Armstrong's experience would make this a mis-match. One of boxing's axioms (a good little man against a good big man) is at play here, a Feather wt going against a bigger man a Lt Welter wt. Armstrong pulls out all his boxing tricks to stave off a KO but lose a close split decision to Pryor in this bout.

This would be a great fight I,\ve read a lot about Armstrong but I,ve only seen a few video clips of him I can,t bet against a man that Sugar Ray Leonard would not fight the only guy Ray would not fight even with the public waned Pryor by knock out round 13

Pryor's iron chin would handle anything Armstrong could throw. I'm biased because I've never seen a complete fight of Armstrong's. I truly see Pryor knocking Armstrong out in round 12 of a brutal give and take fight.

What an awesome question. Who knows my heart goes with Henry Armstrong but they were both fierce competitors. Henry with a close decision in an all out war.

I think was Pryor was stronger. Hit harder. I like Prypr here, and Hammerin Henry remains an absolute icon!!!! Pryor was slightly bigger. One hell of a fight, no doubt!!!
