Do you think Omaha Hi or Omaha 8 or better?

Omaha 8/b is far, FAR more skill intensive. There's so many statistical tables to take into account. Even hands like AA78 can be easily thrown away if they're rainbowed. Another big part about 8/b is when to keep which low hands, as there isn't always two pots. This throws all sorts of curve balls into the game.

Omaha 8 requires more skill. Let's think about it logically for a second...

In Omaha, high hand wins. In Omaha 8, high hand wins, but sometimes so does the low. That creates multitudes more situations and circumstances to factor in.

Look at it like this... Omaha 8 is basic Omaha with tons of other factors that need to be considered, added in to each & every hand. When you look at it like that, it's obvious that Omaha 8 requires a lot more skill to excel in than straight Omaha does.

I'm going to say Omaha H/L (AKA 8oB).

You are trying to get reads on people, there are two possible pots that people could be playing for. You are trying to win both, but have to consider the relative strength of two different hands at the same time. There are 56 different possible low hands to consider, which are often fairly similar, along with the regular high hands.

All in all the addition of the low hands and the potential for a split pot adds so many more factors to consider, this clearly is the tougher game to master.
