IF SO, THERE WILL BE SOIL AROUND THE HOLE BUT NOT IN IT, THE ACTUAL AREA YOU DESCRIBE WILL NOT HAVE ANY SOIL IN IT. EXCEPT FOR THE SMALL AMOUNT WHICH HAS FALLEN IN FROM THE SIDES WHEN YOU STOOD THERE TO MEASURE IT.
