ALL (except those who've already answered like this) repeat after me:

AN F-16 IS AN AIRFRAME. AN AIRFRAME IS A DELIVERY PACKAGE. A DELIVERY PACKAGE IS NOT A WEAPON SYSTEM. ANYTHING WHICH IS NOT A WEAPON SYSTEM IS NOT EVER CONSIDERED A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION. AN F-16 IS NEVER CONSIDERED A WMD.

now, breath. repeat the above substituting F-15 as well.

NO. The F-16 is not a weapon of mass destruction. However, it can deliver a weapon of mass destruction if so equipped. i.e, nuclear bomb or bio weapon.

Possibly if its full on gas, other than that its just your average lawn dart, waiting to fall out of the sky on a whim.

The F-15E Strike Eagle, however, IS in fact a WMD. The 15E has a massive (as far as fighters go) payload capability. It is also much louder and has been known to make babies cry and women faint. In Fact, just the sound of an F-15E has been known to give the opposition the hee-bee-jee-bees.

ADD: and yes... Hee-bee-jee-bees is in fact a technical term. as to which the side effects of the hee-bee-jee-bees may include the following, uncontrollable flailing of arms, dropping of weapons, uncontrollable bowels, loosing control of the tone/volume of ones voice, and also expedient movement towards ones soon to be captors.

ADD: The F-16 and F-15 Both in fact have weapon systems (yea, they drop bombs! this makes them weapon systems), in addition anybody that thinks that my statements calling the jets themselves WMD are entirely serious... get a sense of humor

It can deliver tactical nuclear weapons, but in and of itself is not classified as a WMD. However, if it is operated in the hands of the right pilot, like me it may come close!
