To be proud b/c my girlfriend can do a double-back flip?? Is it wrong to cringe when I see her fall?? I saw her fall lastweek and it broke my heart. She was upset b/c she didn't come in first b/c of it. I am always there to support her but when I hold her in my arms, her coach asks me to leave. Is it wrong??

I usually hold her and kiss her while she waits to find out where she placed(usually 1-5 out of 200. Why does her coach have a problem with that??

Her coach is probably a lesbian. Lots of those female coaches are. (If they aren't, they could sure fool me!) I suspect that's why the coach has a problem with it. No, it's not wrong to be proud of your gf. Just remember: "Pride goeth before the fall." No pun intended ;) Have a nice day!

Its Not Wrong. I'm A Gymnast And At The Meets And Training Your Not Allowd On The Competition Floor Eather Way In A Competition They Might Just Disqulify Your Girlfriend. Its Okay To Be Worried About Her But Save Your Comforting For Off The Floor Because If You Distract Her With These Hugs It Might Cause Her To Really Hurt Herself.

Why is her coach asking you to leave? It's good to be supportive of your girlfriend but do it from the stands or after practice/competition. Think of it like this... if you played football and your girlfriend ran on the field to give you a hug every time you got tackled your coach might get a little peeved.
Know what I mean?
Lucky her for having a supportive guy though! Don't stop! Just express it at more approriate times.

Don't be silly - it is not wrong in any sense of the word. What I see as a potential problem is that her coach seems to be a tad controlling of your girlfriend. Does you being by her side give your girlfriend grief? If so then get out now because once your girl finds you clingy and annoying there is no recovery for you.
But back to your basic question - it is wonderful that you support your girlfriend and root for her to succeed. Keep it up!

No, there is nothing wrong with being supportive of your girlfriend. The coach probably asks you to leave because, well, truth is, during that time when she finds out what place she gets, its her and the coaches time. Trust me, i was having soccer practice and my BF and my sister came to cheer me on and he told them not to disturb me. At the end he told me to tell them that its his and my time. So its not wrong to be proud of her, but on the other hand you have to do it at the right time. Best of Luck!

No, it's never wrong to admire and be proud of a person.
It is wrong, however, to interfere with her coaching. If the coach asks you to leave it is because you are hurting her performance/going back. Console her on the way/at home.

Probably he doesn't want you in the way to distract her. A lot of the time, athletes can get to be distracted by people standing around them and have a bad performance because of it.
You sound as though you're a bit over-bearing on her. Try and take a step back.

in this situation the coach is more directive than you. it leads to attentive problems and she needs to focus. how can she focus on her gymnastics if your there?. to be the best at this, she needs to FOCUS AND YOU BEING THERE CAN BE A DISTRACTION TO HER AMBITION.sorry but that is the way it goes, wait till her classes are over and her meets are over for her to see you and before - to give her support. if she gets hurt because she was focusing on you- that will not be good.your good to be very supportive but there is a time and a place, sweetie.
