My husband came home from Iraq and has some really bad athelete's foot. We've tried every over the counter thing we could get our hands on and nothing is helping! The spray burns, the powder does nothing, and he's tired of the itching. It's really bad, he says it's the worst he's ever had. Are there any home remedies or anything we could try? We've tried different brands and nothing is working for him.

He hasn't killed anyone, he's been welding.

Time for a prescription. If nothing over-the-counter is working, then he needs a high-powered cream that only a doctor can give him. He probably should get rid of his shoes after this, and he'll need to wash all his socks in HOT, and if they're white, add some chlorox.

I suggest using Basic G in the shower and Herbal Blend Multi Purpose Cream on feet and between toes after bath or shower. Also, treat internally with Optiflora which will help eliminate nail and foot fungus as well.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me if interested in the website or with questions.

You can go to your search bar and type in "alternative treatment for athletes foot" or try purchasing some tea tree oil at Wal-mart or any drug store and it's very inexpensive. (Look up "beneifits of tea tree oil") You can apply it directly to your foot or add a few drops to a bowl of water to soak your feet in. (Just so you know, it has a strong smell) Just remember, any product you use for athletes foot must be used for approx. 3 - 6 months. It takes a very long time to get rid of this condition.
