how about 17 billion in funding spent on SPAM email prevention each year?

The iraq conflict amounts to abou 2.5 percent of the GDP. By contrast, WWII cost about 56 percent of the GDP. Your numbers LOOK large, but in proper context they're really not big at all.

what would like us to leave out?? Everyone complains about our soldiers dying but in the same hand you don't want to spend the money to help protect them! Let see, how about we leave out the body armor to protect them and then to really mess with them lets not repair or replace any of their equipment! Then we should draft you and send you out there so that we can see how much fun you are having trying to fire a gun that don't work.

No, this is called imperialist capitalism. Kickbacks everywhere, no real accountability, and nothing but a fountain of misinformation from politicians about the state of affairs in America's latest flustercuck..

Shawn: How far up your @ss did you go to pull those figures? Defense spending is running over $500 BILLION per year and climbing under these borrow-and-spend "conservatives". That's a good half of annual expenditures, not to mention supplemental bills introduced by Congress. The US is 5% of world population, yet spends 50% of the world's military dollars..what do you think of that?

Very much worth it. And to think that the DoD only accounts for about 18% of the national budget. What failing social programs is the other 82% going into?

And little help for the people in New Orleans, not to mention educating our children, health care, prescription assistance for the elderly, insurance coverage. How much could have been made better in the U.S. with this kind of money, and how much damage have we done to Iraq and its people. And Clinton was impeached for telling a lie. My god.
