Do your homework before posting questions, the military won't take illegals. I have 14 years in the Navy to back that up and can tell you from personal experience that there are no illegals whatsoever in the military. The only non citizens ever allowed to join were individuals from the Philippines, and that program was terminated in the mid 90's.

I did see a documentary where an Asian man received his
American citizenship because he enlisted in the Army. This was
a couple of months ago.
Since there is no draft, (thank God) only voluntary forces, a
proposal was submitted and accepted whereas illegal immigrant
would be automatically given citizenship if they enlisted and left
to Iraq.
When they return home, and this is then their home, since
they fought for it, they will be given all the rights and privileges
they deserve such as voting.

I tried to tell people a while back that this country wanted to use illegal aliens and their children as cannon fodder, but I received a violation for my trouble. If it's true and if they make it back okay, let them have citizenship. I wouldn't deny someone who fought for my country even if I don't agree with the war. But that doesn't mean they should be able to bring their whole clan.

So, end the war, send the illegal aliens home, and let's have a lot more support/respect for the law to begin with. Also, better border enforcement.

Hun, they are not illegal. They are foreign nationals who are fighting in the US Armed Services. The press has really turned this story all around. I would say that most Americans do not have a problem with immigrants as long as they enter this country legally. Its the undocumented, illegal immigrants that we have a problem with. The liberal press has turned this into an immigration issue instead of a legal issue.

What has the right to vote got to do with it? I'm a legal immigrant and I don't have the right to vote either. Illegal aliens who join up know what they are getting into. They do not deserve any special privileges.

What is your point? Is that supposed to mean that all illegals are allowed to stay? You may not have to be legal citizen to join the armed services, I don't know, but it doesn't change the fact that there are laws to get into the country and illegals did not follow those laws. They need to go home and and apply for entry the legal way.

Nonesense. Bush signed a Presidential order allowing soldiars to become citizens on day one of active duty. If they are over there, they have no reason to be illegal.

They do not know this because the people who say send the illegals are cowards that come from coward families that have never served this country. They do not know Mexicans are in the military because they are far to scared to join the military. This is why we need illegal aliens, the cowards wont fight.
