So I'm pissed naturally, but I think he's overeating, they don't do anything and he don't get that. So I want to not speak to him until he lets up, but that probly won't work. He won't listen to reason believe me trying to explain it to him will never work, he thinks he's always right. So what can I do to piss him off or change his mind. He's bullheaded, overprotective and won't listen to a damn thing I say, so what do I do, I mean it's useless but keeping me from my boyfriend will only piss me off not teach me a lesson.

If you're old enough to have sex and for him to pay for or approve of birth control, to have researched it, & use it properly then you are old enough for him to listen to why you're doing what you're doing. Maybe schedule a visit with your doctor and him and they can tell him in person that the pills are just there so you don't get out of the habit of taking them. That's what they are there for (meaning you should be taking them b/c they do serve a purpose). Just talk to him like the person who is mature enough to take birth control and to have sex should and maybe he'll understand.

First of all, take a deep breath. If you're young enough to be living at home, then you need to respect your father and try to understand things from his point of view. I can understand why he's upset! The placebo pills are there to help you remember to take your pills every day. If you don't take them, it's not a big deal because you'll just get your period as usual. But I think what he's worried about is then you forgetting to take your regular pills on schedule again. Try to understand that no matter how old you get you'll always be his baby girl and he only wants what's best for you. And believe it or not, he's smarter than he looks so give him some credit that he knows what he's talking about. Go talk to him and see if you guys can clear the air and set your relationship right again. Good luck to you!

the so called sugar pills are put there for a reason there to help keep you regular . there is some thing in the pill that keeps you from cramping to bad and so times will even help with break outs . your dad might not know that but he does no there is a season those pill are there . oh it would not be a good idea to take the full does pills when you are suppose to take the sugar pill . it can mess you up later on . and you might what to ask your doc before you decide to no take pills

You can't date???? OK, first I like to know why your father checks your birth control and then I like your idea of a "date".
Sounds crazy. You are correct, you don't need to take the sugar pills, I never do. But why your father is checking them- flips me out. Sounds like a control thing to me. If you over 21, I would pack my stuff and leave.

You can't get pregnant because the sugar pills are just reminder pills and you don't have to take them at all. Call your doctor and have he/she explain this to your father or look it up on the internet and have him read it. Prove him wrong!

The sugar pills in the birth control pack have no use except to help you to remember to take your birth control.That is why they are called SUGAR PILLS!

find him proof that they are just sugar pills. not talking to him or trying to piss him off will only ruin your relationship. look up your pills online and print off the info on them. sit down with him just you two. dont let anyone else butt in on the convo. also stay level headed about it. dont start a screaming fit with him.

Hi, I am not sure how old you are.........BUT it sounds a little scary that your dad isn't worried about AIDS. I know you probably don't want a lecture but I would approach him with a "safe" sex talk...Assure him that you use other protection.........(and I really hope you do).....Birth control pills don't always work anyhow.....So please be careful and HEALTHY. My cousin died of AIDS and its a nasty nasty disease.

Slip him some poison. While he is dying, offer an antidote! once he swallows it, tell him it was a placebo. when he dies, he will understand that sugar pills don't do anything.
