Hello there.
There are many beautiful beaches in Turkey, but the one which is
undoubtably the most photographed and definatley the one which appears in all the Travel Brochures is actually Belcekiz beach at Olu Deniz.
The resort itself is a very pleasant beach resort and beauty spot on a fine bay backed by wooded mountains, on the south-west coast of Turkey, 2 miles from Hisaronu, 9 miles south of Fethiye and 45 miles from Dalaman airport.
The splendid Belcekiz beach is an immensely long stretch of white sand and shingle, gently shelving into the beautifully clear warm Mediterranean. Olu Deniz beach has well-kept gardens along an attractive seafront promenade, and is considered one of the finest in Turkey. A special feature of the bay at Olu Deniz is the famously photogenic turquoise lagoon at the end of Olu Deniz beach. The picturesque lagoon is a protected beauty spot and has several secluded beaches. Nature lovers on holiday in Olu Deniz will want to explore the national park on the sand spit and the home of the local loggerhead turtles. The beach offers plenty of watersports outside the lagoon area, including snorkelling and scuba diving. It also attracts paragliding and hang-gliding enthusiasts.
Good luck with the project- I hope this helps :-)

Side is great...near to Lara Beach but can be a lot cheaper. Lots of hotels for all prices ranges, I go to the Arum. Beach is gorgeous, lovely bars and restuarents but not too noisy. Plently to see/do - markets, ruins, waterfalls etc. The transfer isn't long either, probably between 50mins-1hr30mins depending on if you go by private shuttle bus or coach. But the road from the airport to Side is very straight, so no chance of carsickness. I love this resort, this year is the 4th time since 2008 I will be there.

Patara Beach was choosen the best beach in the world by Sunday Times. It is 15kilometers as the longest beach in Mediterannean Sea..Turkey has great beaches as Ölüdeniz (Oludeniz), Kelebekler Vadisi , Dalyan , Çalış (Calis), Kuşadası (Kusadasi), İçmeler (Icmeler), Kleopatra Plajı, Side ... I guess Patara is photographed most because of its fame.
