Try the over the counter medicine like MEDERMA Skin Care for Scars and make sure you keep the skin well moisturized. Use a moisturizer with a lot of vitamin E, cocoa butter, and/or shea butter. This worked to heal my scar after surgery.

I hope that you have gotten over the issues that caused you to self mutilate. I wish you the best.

Mederma is made for scars. It is a bit expensive, however. Many doctors say Vitamin E oil is also good for scars. This too can be purchased at a drug store. Another option is visiting a dermatologist. Injections are available to decrease the size of scars. Another important thing is to protect the scars from sunlight, so if your arms are exposed to sun, make sure you have high SPF sunscreen over your scars. Hope this helps.

Nothing will work within 2 weeks, trust me. I have a few scars from various accidents, but the only thing that helps is mederma, it lightens scars, but takes a long time to work. With new scars it will take 4-6 weeks, with old scars it will take 8-12 weeks. If it works.

Neopsporin scar solutions is a great over the counter remedy.
Or try Kelocote, also over the counter.

I know it sucks. Make up will help, but not really. You should get some of the scar vanisher. It will help.
