How about a Family Picture Frame -- with photos of her children/spouses and their children in it (go cooperative -- and get the other photos too). That way, it will be a thoughtful gift from all her children and she will appreciate it a bit more.

There are many items you can buy that are reasonably priced. If you know what she likes that would be a big help. I gave people cans of Godiva Hot Chocolate mix as gifts that cost $10. Also you can buy cans of gourmet teas and coffees at small neighborhood gift shops. How about a scarf or a pair of gloves? Use your instincts and buy what you think she would like. You can't go wrong.
Besides, you'll feel good about giving her something.

Why don't you go to the store and get one of those frames that has places for 2 or 3 pictures and them put a picture of her son/your husband when he was little, a picture when he graduated from high school or some other signifigant event, and then a picture of you and him at your wedding---it will be a really nice gift and it will sort of stick it her because the last pic will be the both of you

if you have children make something with them to give her. Give her a pretty picture of you and her son in a nice picture frame.
Give her something nice for the home like lovely candles or whatever she is into, but if you are really not feeling anything dont give anything because the feelings when not go with the gift even if you gave it for good reasons.

You could get her some bubble bath or something yummy smelling like a pretty candle. You could bake her her favorite cookie or fudge. These have already been mentioned, but that's what came to my mind also. Does she collect anything? You might find a cute little collectable that she would enjoy in her china cabinet. Keep it simple and thoughtful and you won't go wrong :)

that is very thoughtful of you to get her something. How about a realy nice candle or a picture frame, a shirt would be nice a lotion set. Why isnt she getting you anything? Thats kind of rude. but you are being the bigger person and thats all that matters.

I recommend that you get her something she will love. It is a good way to be sarcastic and please yourself but still make her happy at the same time. Give her a framed picture of your husband with your kids, if you kids. If you don't have kids, just get a cheesy framed photo of your husband. It will be pretty funny and I bet she will love it. Or if you don't want to do that get a $10 Starbucks card... everyone loves that.

Well, if she isn't getting you anything, make it small. You don't want to give her the hint that you got her something awesome and she didn't get anything at all. Try a nice candle set. You can't go wrong with candles.

Either bake her cookies and fudge etc, put in a cheap bin. That is special because you put time in it. You can also go to wal-mart and get a cheap bath set. They are a nice girl, I gave one to my mother in law, she loved it.
