Bought back in 2005. Stored on shelf in a basement. Never opened or used and just sits there in a normal temperature room.

My Dad owns a grocery store, and there's dates on those things for a reason. Things do go bad and they do spoil. It's probably a less than $2.00 bottle of dressing. Not worth the risk of getting very sick I would think.......

If it LOOKS good, and doesn't smell bad when you open it, it's fine. Under normal conditions, foods and drugs last LOOOONG past their expiration date.

Safety is important, but waste is just stupid. Use common sense, your eyes, and your nose. You'll KNOW if it's ok or not.

Of course toss it out. Come on, dressing costs like what $3 at the most?

I concur toss it out. Then, in the future consult you local agricultural extension agent and get a list from him/her that shows how long canned, bottled, frozen, refrigerated, things can be kept. They will be happy to supply it.

Depends on what kind of dressing it is. Vinegar is a natural preservative, but if mayo or cream you are risking getting sick.

Heck no, are you gonna let a stupid jar label tell you what to do? Gobble that stuff down.

P.S.
If you survive, let us know how it tasted, okay.

HAHAHAHAHA

Seriously, throw it out.
