There is this guy that I've been liking for awhile. Sometimes when we are around each other he is so sweet and considerate and then other times he says things that he knows will upset me. Like some girl is really hot or telling me about girls he likes. I've started to give up thinking that we will ever be a couple and all my friends think he is a jerk. Anyways strangest thing happened a couple weeks ago. I ran into one of his friends at the mall and we started talking. He told me that this guy really likes me. I was floored. I said he sure doesn't act like it and he said believe me he does just give him some time AND stop acting like you like him. I don't know what to do. I've invested so much as it is, but if it is true I would be so happy! My friends tell me to drop him now before 07 and don't look back. I don't want to hurt anymore over this guy but if he actually does like me why play games? Is it even worth me to try and play his game?

I'm actually 24 and he is also 24. We are both out of college and everything. I guess it does kinda sound like reindeer games but I am struggling with it.

I'd listen to your friends. If he truly likes you, let him chase you for a change. Plus if you stop interacting with him now, he'd begin to wonder what's going on and why you don't come around. Get his curiosity up. Once it has surfaced, ask him what exactly are his feelings for you.

sometimes when guys like you they would wish to now how you would react to some issues like jealousy, and the likes.This is kind of normal for guys.I woul suggest this why not have some talk with him and tell him what you feel upsets you when he does them.This should be once you get to know each other well and how he would react coz in some instances it may push him far from you but if he really cares and likes/loves you he will do the level best not to repeat what he knows will upset you.As for ya pals they arent with him u r to judge what is right and wrong for you.Maybe some of ya pals dnt like the way u r liked by him and if they are ladies the i suggest go by ya feelings not theres.Ladies will always talk negative abt ya BF and husbands,Have u not seen or heard of friends breakn couples then takn them for there own.Girl/Lady take ya time dnt rush things.Breakn up is so hard and painful talk to ya man and things will come to work out for the best.
Ok... Dont worry much share ya feelngs with him too but not too fast let him shwo his..

Games aren't real life...games are something you do when you are bored. So if this is nothing more than a game...why waist so much time worrying about it? Shouldn't it atleast be fun? If its not then real life won't be either.
