I dont think so I myself have found even speaking spanish is not really perfect in the bi-lingual world. Words that mean something to me make no sence to someone else and then theres the whole SPANGLISH thing I think thats what most ppl are speaking recently king of like a new slang

Absolutely! I am perfectly bi-lingual English-Italian. I was born and raised in America by American parents, but have been living in Italy for 35 years. Italians can never guess I am American. When I tell them so, they are always really surprised as I speak the language as an Italian (actually, I am often told I speak and write it better than a lot of Italians do!), but within my family circle we have always spoken English. Furthermore, I love reading and have always done most of my reading in English.
So yes, it is quite possible.

If you consider fluency, then a person would have to be fluent in both languages. Fluency means able to speak with ease.
I am fluent in English. I can speak Spanish and Japanese like a three-year-old. Yes, it is possible. J. R. R. Tolkien was fluent in 14 languages. Tolkien use to say French was like a nasal disease and that Spanish was the most beautiful language!

Yes. And some languages are easier to pick up to fluency for people who have not yet learned a second lagnuage. Depends on the person mainly, but sometimes a language seems to be hard for alot of people.

Yup. I'm 14 and I speak English and Spanish very fluently. I'm learning a third language too, Italian.

Yes. But it does take a lot of studying. For example, I speak english and chinese. My chinese seems perfect, but I still have to study to get all the words down. But if you speak japanese, then yes, it is possible.

Perhaps you don't realise this, but most Europeans are bi-langual (and many of them perfectly).

I am perfectly trilingual (Dutch, English, Indonesian) and speak two more languages (but not perfectly).
