ive broken up w/ my bf for 3 months already, we stayed in touch the first week, like we were still friends, but now we totally ignore eachother for no reason. kinda lame, but what can i do to be friends w/ him again? guys, what would it take a girl to do to get you to be friends again?

Why do women always insist on being friends?
I dont get that part. Maybe he is hurting that he has lost you and cant be "just friends".
Trust me its hard to be friends with some1 u've loved even for only 3 months. My ex wanted that. I went along with it but she just kept ignoring me so theres no point in being friends with an ex it wouldnt work if both can't be adults about the situation.
I hope this answers your question. Im not bitter that she wants to be just friends. Its just the way she goes about it. Why ask to be just friends if you can't fulfil being there for them?
Think about it carefully before wanting to be "just friends"...

A lot of what you ask depends on why you broke up in the first place. Some men never get over a bad relationship if he feels that he has been wronged. Assuming that their was no real animosity involved, do your best to stay in his circle of friends. When he is ready he will talk about the break and then you can try being his friend again. Be patient it will take some time. Good Luck

time heals every thing dont worry if he stills likes u as a friend he will talk to u but make the first move if u see tat he ignores u then just give him some time to heal

Guys do not want to remain friends with someone they just got through dating. Definitely if there is no chance of getting back together.
So I would move on.

Its an ex. Why do you people want to remain or be friendly with ex's sooo bad on yahoo answers? Its amazing to me how much energy you guys put into trying to remain friends. I'm not saying you should be enemies but damnit you can not make someone want to remain friends with you. Perhaps its too hard for him to be friends with you and its easier for him to NOT be friends. Your being selfish by trying to FORCE friendship on him. If he wanted to remain friends....you wouldnt have to try. Leave him be!!!

be natraul, ask him about his day just casually, if he still doesnt want to talk to you then just act like he isnt there.
