Its a slang term, used mostly among traditional Christians, for "Fundamentalist". It means someone who is your average Baptist/Church of Christ/Pentecostal....Born Again Christian basically. Hope that helps. Have a great day =).

A fundamentalist. It means they're someone that takes everything the bible says as absolute fact and they'll get upset if you say otherwise. They're also the people that try to get religion turned into law. These people are the people that will even get violent if they feel you're going against their beliefs.
They're Christian extremists.

Most commonly referring to a Christian fundamentalist. They are religious fanatics who think that you have to be "saved" to go to "heaven". They say that homosexuality is a choice. They advocate abstinence before marriage. They love to point fingers at who is going to hell.
You can tell from your answers the fundies are largely uneducated and brainwashed.

It is a disrespectful, familiarizing form of the word "Fundamentalist", indicating a Christian who interprets scripture as literally as possible, believes in the inerrancy of scripture no matter how small you parse it, has an extremely conservative view of personal morality and believes in very large church buildings that require a lot of "fund"ing (That part may be coincidental).

Anyone who doesn't believe what they believe is working for Satan.
Science shouldn't be taught in school because it might conflict with what god told them is true.
That the bible or Quran should be held as law in society.
Basically, they're crazy people. Mean and aggressive crazy people.
