my crush DID ask me who i liked, a while back, and online, and i just kept avoiding answering, by saying things like, "why do you want to know" and "i'll tell you some other time", to see if he might possibly like me too. I kind of guessed that he did when he kept asking and wouldn't give it up. SO, i told him, "if you tell me who you like, i'll tell you." and he was like, okay, and then he told me that he liked me! ahaha and THEN i told him that i liked him too. Even if you're talking to him online, i know it can still be difficult. If you see him everyday, and it turns out that he doesn't like you (hopefully not) and you told him you like him, it'll probably be very awkward. First maybe find out if he likes you, by paying attention to some hints or clues he gives you. Just relax =) Hope everything works out for you!

There are three things you want to accomplish when flirting with a crush
1) leave him an open door
2) leave yourself a back door
3) and not have any doors slammed in your face
If you don't tell him, you've elminated #1. If you tell him out right it is him, you've eliminated #2 and possibly #3. So here's what I would do.
Dramatically place my hand over my heart. Look at him wide eyed. Flutter my eyelashes and then state with the utmost drama, "Why, darling," more eyelash flutter, "you've been my secret crush for ages!"
Give it two seconds. If he doesn't flirt back with you, then really smile wide, laugh and tell him you were joking. However, if he starts flirting with you, then continue on.
You are giving him an opening.
You are providing yourself with an out.
And you are doing it in a way that you won't be embarrassed to tears about tomorrow if you get rejected.
Sound corny? Maybe. But this is what flirting is about.

He asked because he thinks you like him, but he is not sure and doesn't want to be the person to make the first step of saying that he likes you. However, by asking the question, he sorta made the first step, but did it in a way that saves his face in case you give him an answer he doesn't want to hear. Did you ever end up answering him? He probably won't ask again, but if a guy ever did ask that question, you should smile happily and say, "I wanted to ask you that question." It also depends on your relationship and how well you know the person. If you're both mature, you may just want to say that you like him.

Your question, I guess that depends on whether u want him to know or not. If u want to play 'hard-to-get" or be a bit secretive, then tell him, "not telling u...yet" or something like that lol (jokingly, better do it in person). That way he might get interested lol. And if u showing all the body language that u like him, then my guess is that he pretty much noticed that u're interested...or not (depends on what kinda person he is)
But yea, if u feel like telling him, then u tell him the truth.

Drag it out and say stuff like well.. umm.. and ya do the "mystery card" and say someone you know and eventually they'll catch on and realize it. You dont have to say much.
But for a 100% sure approach just say you.

Ask him why, first. That is such a tight situation because if you tell him its him then he might not like you but If you say its some1 else he might like you and be disappointed. Be wise

This depends on if the crush is welcome. Usually a person with a crush is too shy to make it known.
If you welcome it, then reply back with the other person or be evasive.
If not, then the best is to be evasive or pick a movie star.. That often works.

Then you say right back at em, "Why?Who do u like?"
Most likely, from the answer he goves u, u'll be able to determine if he likes u back.
