If he has been away for a long time, all he is dreaming about is a quiet weekend at home with his girlfriend, homecooked meals and lots of talking and kissing (etc. etc.)!

I know this has been some good time sfor you when you get to know that ya BF is coming back and you will be together.I would suggest that you get to know what he likes doing most or what he always wanted to do and never got the chance to do it.Plan to take him somewhere where you will be together and make this day memorable to him always. You could also spend some few buks on buyn him something if takn him somewhere will be costly.Sometimes u dnt have to spend so much to make the day special. It may be small to your capability and mean alot to Him.Just remember be yourself and let him know how much you have waitd to be with Him... I wish you all the best in choosing the best thing to do,just do it right and let him appreciate it nomatter how small it will be..

Go On..
Cheers.. Smile now coz he will also need to see more of that..

I spent all last year in Baghdad and the first thing I wanted to do when I got back home was go to my favorite restaurants. While the food there may be plentiful that was just not enough. I mad a list of about seven restaurants and just ate my way through the list.

When my fiancee came back from Iraq, I planned a quiet evening on the lake, no interruptions, and I made his favorite food. Just think about one of your most happiest times together, and go with that. Good luck, and congrats :)

Ask him how he felt when he heard of the teen aged girl raped by American soldiers before the eyes of her family and then how she was killed with all his family members by being burned up by the same soldiers.
