I m on a diet for over a year. I wish I could stay thin but eat normal> How many kcal do a teeen need per day? Do u know some diet that will boost metabolism??

Everyone's daily maintenance calorie requirement is different. This depends on metabolism and level of activity.

However, there are some things that evry one can do to keep their metabolism from slowing:
1. Eat frequent small meals (evey time you eat you body has to work to digest that food. However, the meals should be moderate-low calorie as your body can only metabolise a set amount at a time)
2. Stay properly hydrated. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
3. Stay physically active. Exercise at least 3 times a week, including cardio and weight training
4. Consume enough calories. Starving yourself (going below 1200cal a day) will actually slow you metabolism. You need even more calories if you are very active.

You need around 2000 if you are moderately active and not on a diet
1200 if you want to lose weight

To boost metabolism (sigh, here goes):
1. raw organic apple cider vinegar- 1 tablespoon in 8oz of water before each meal
2. cayenne pepper
3. egg whites
4. building muscle by lifting weights or working out
5. cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach
6. drink ice cold water so cold that it gives you a brainfreeze- your body will burn calories trying to cool it down to normal body temperature
7. fiber- lots of fiber- absorbs calories while it is being pushed through the digestive system
8. water- this flushes out blocks in you body that stop you from metabolizing food quickly
9. CLA Conjugated Linoleic Acid- this is an expensive NATURAL supplement that will help you convert your fat stores into muscle and thus you will lose fat and your metabolism will soar
10. 5+ cups of brewed green tea daily BREWED tea not that Lipton sweetened bottled ****
11. Grapefruit actually burns fat but you need like 3 a day

exercise and eating 5 meals a day will definitely raise your metabolism. if you walk 1 mile a day you burn an extra 1000 calories a month.
