The best way to get someone to look at you with "new eyes" is to show them all the things that you know they wanted to see from you but didn't exhibit before.....not that you have to change yourself completely, just be more aware of what they were looking for to begin with and put your best foot forward. This will take time and patients on your part, as they may not trust that it's real.
Be the best friend you can be for them, listen to them, give them advice if they ask for it (try to be objective), and just let them know by your actions that you want them to be happy.

I don't like the term "win back". That to me sounds like it is a game. If you can arrange a time to meet and just spend time together that should be enough. The relationship will get back on track just by being around eachother if it can work out.
