If you want to grow mushrooms, buy a log inoculated with shitake spores. No lysol required, Shitakes taste good, they are legal, oh and they won't kill you. All in all a much better route.

Nope, lysol doesn't work fast or 100%. use a bleach water solution in a spray bottle. and let it evaporate completely. AVOID breathing the fumes
