I had a blind date with this guy last week. Honestly, I'm just not attracted to him, and I'm really not a shallow person. I just didn't feel any chemistry. Now he wants me to go out again. Should I? If not, how should I handle telling him no?

No. The next time he calls, tell him that you had a nice time, he's a great guy, but you're not interested in dating him -- the chemistry just isn't there. It happens to all of us. Tell him now for two reasons: the longer you put it off, the harder it will get to tell him & it's kinder to tell him up front so he can stop wasting his time & look for a better match.

If you feel that it's absolutely not going to happen then don't lead the poor guy on. But if you genuinely like the guy and think you could be friends, I say go ahead and go.... talk as friends and pay your 1/2 and maybe tell him at the end of the date that you really like him as a friend you just don't feel much else. Tell him your sorry but that we could all use more friends right? He'll not love it but eventually he'll agree we could all use more friends.

Make sure that he knows it's YOU saying no. It's easy to cop out with a cheesy excuse like "oh... i'm...busy" or "something came up". Come right out and tell him what you just wrote down. It'll hurt him a bit since obviously he was expecting more than he's getting, but it's better to let him down early than to mire both of you into some sort of wacky one-sided relationship.

You have already decided that you are not attracted to him,so why date him. If the relationship isn't going to proceed forward, just tell him the truth. Hopefully he will be mature enough to handle it .Honesty is always the best thing .

You should go out with one intention in mind.

You went out initially because you had nothing to do. This time, analyze him and see if you can picture yourself in his life and him in yours. If you cannot do that on the second date, when it's done, tell him you have no connection and that you really tried.

Maybe you will connect this time. Who knows.

Next time you see him tell him how you feel. Say to him exactly what you feel, then tell him that you could be Just friends with him.

As long as the dates and gifts are expensive, keep dating him, but don't sleep with him. EVER!

If you didn't feel anything why waste your time. Besides you wouldn't want to lead the pore guy on would you?
