So in the last couple of months my perfect 8-year driving record has been marred with two four-point tickets in VA. I used to live in PA up until a year ago, so obviously I've learned that driving down here is extremely different. I think it is odd, however, that I didn't get any tickets the first few months I was here... glad I didn't, but that's besides the point. I am a perfectionist and it annoys me that I have negative points at all.

From what I have been able to understand, VA is different from PA in that you start with 0 (zero) points and either accumulate positive or a time of good driving, or negative from... not so good. In PA you start with positive and when you hit zero you're in trouble.

I know I should expect a letter in the mail about violating traffic laws now that I have -8 points in one year, but how, besides just waiting and not getting more tickets, how can I improve my record? I also found out that you aren't in serious trouble in VA (losing your license

Again, I believe I was obeying the law and I always try to- that is not the issue! I am constantly passed by people going over the limit and I see wreckless drivers all the time. I was not deliberately seeking to get away with anything, thank you very much. Uh duh, obey the law- I know that! >:( Try answering my question please.

VA has a 12-point system...ur at 8 points now so u need to go to driving school..that will take off 5 points..however 3 years from the dates of the tickets the points come off anway..but if u reach 12 points u lose ur license for 12 months..so i suggest u go to driver improvement classes to reduce ur points..

i could say justcontinual like an grownup. be careful in any respect cases and conscious. constantly do the fee decrease. Or a minimum of only 5-8 miles an hour over the reported velocity decrease. constantly positioned on your seatbelt, dontcontinual below the impact of alcohol, dont be pre-involved approximately something else collectively as youre making use of. justcontinual. The highways and streets at the instant are not a race music. know! it is how i could by no skill ever get factors on my license.
