So in the last couple of months my perfect 8-year driving record has been marred with two four-point tickets in VA. I used to live in PA up until a year ago, so obviously I've learned that driving down here is extremely different. I think it is odd, however, that I didn't get any tickets the first few months I was here... glad I didn't, but that's besides the point. I know I should expect a letter in the mail about violating traffic laws now that I have -8 points in one year, but how, besides just waiting and not getting more tickets, how can I improve my record? I also found out that you aren't in serious trouble in VA (losing your license

Again, I believe I was obeying the law and I always try to- that is not the issue! I am constantly passed by people going over the limit and I see wreckless drivers all the time. I was not deliberately seeking to get away with anything, thank you very much. Uh duh, obey the law- I know that! >:( Try answering my question please.
