You can have panic attacks while on valium. Valium may not be the correct drug for your particular issue. Never take more without checking with your doctor first! I would contact your doctor and explain what you're experiencing.

You can have a panic attack on any anti-anxiety medication...they do help with the severity of the panic attack, and in most cases eliminate the panic attacks altogether.

I agree with the above people that you should definitely call your doctor as soon as possible. Perhaps your doc will suggest upping your dosage, but do not do it on your own!

And you say for only a month at most...these drugs like Valium are addictive, once you go up is so very hard to come down.

Yes absolutely, but never up the dosage on any medication without your doctor's expressed consent.
See your doctor immediately and make him or her aware of what is going on. Sedation is not the key to fighting panic attacks. .

Definitely do not take more Valium...Consult your doctor and see if they could prescribe you a different medication...
