It depends where you are. If you are in Canada already and want to claim refugee status, you should talk to a community legal clinic or a lawyer for advice and apply as soon as possible to Citizenship and Immigration Canada. It is very wise to get legal advice! If you are already in Canada and do not have the money for a lawyer you can apply to Legal Aid to get the cost of a lawyer covered.

If you are in another country, you should contact your nearest Canadian consulate or embassy for advice and the forms. If you can, speak with a lawyer. Information on Canadian immigration is available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website as the person stated above www.cic.gc.ca Good luck on everythiing!
