It could be a pilonidal cyst.

Have you ever fallen down really hard on your dairy air? I did once and every now and then I get that pain. It's like a shooting/stabbing pain. Sometimes it's very painful. You should probably go to the doctors if it's happened recently. I know I should have, I think if I go now they'll probably tell me that it's too late do really be able to do anything for it. To relieve SOME of the pain you might want to go to Walgreens, Rite Aide, etc and pick up a doughnut pillow. It helps a little. Hope this helps.

If i were you i would get to a doc right away. When i heard what you said it immediately made me think about when my Mum got colon cancer. (i don't mean to scare you) but she had an office job where she sat probably most of the day and when she sat it hurt and she went to the doc and it ended up being a pecan size cyst or tumor which they removed. She had to undergo radiation which did the trick and now she is cancer free. Thank God and it has not returned...............don't mess around with this, and it may not turn out to be this at all but i would go get it checked out!!!!!
