You are right, it is not jaundice. It is actually quite a natural colour the conjunctiva (lining of the surface of the eye) takes on in some people- in the area of the eye that is exposed to the sun. Especially if you have slightly more pigmented skin or if you have more exposure to sun. It is nothing to worry about generally. If it is more raised/ bumpy, it called a pinguecula and can sometimes make the eye feel a tiny bit gritty. However, even that is nothing to worry about. If you think its appearance is changing rapidly, or it is getting darker yellow or inflammed, then do see an eye doc - you will probably be reassured. Hope that helps.

Not sure. How is the color of you're skin? Is that alittle yellowish too?
Do you take Vit. A? If ya take to much, that can do it, and it is dangerous to use to much of it. If you are using that or any other fat soluble vitamin that tends to stay in the system, you should never use to much.
Maybe go to a Doctor. I was going to say, try WebMD, but for that I think you've already got to know what you have.
See, when people start scrolling down lists to find out, sometimes that's not to good.
That leads to self-diagnosis, and sometimes a set of symptoms can match many different things.
Then we could end up telling ourselves we "Oh, I have that!", or this!
See, and that isn't always good for the nerves.
And we can make it a self fulfilling prophecy. Sort of like, what the heck, I might as well really tie one on, live recklessly, etc., cause if I have Zorch! I'm not gonna live along time anyway.
And we might not even have anything.
How about the simplest first, possibly eye strain? Always start with the simplest first, but be ready to see a doctor just in case.

Yes, it's a variation of blue eyes. The way light reflects and enters the eye makes them appear violet. Liv Tyler has violet eyes. It's very rare, though.

What everyone has written is right about your eyes, but you should also see you primary doctor and maybe get some lab work done. They will check your LIVER functions. Even if it nothing, wouldnt you feel better knowing that it is just the color of your eyes and not the begining of Hepatitis?!?!
-Good Luck

Pingueculae. Raised yellowish nodules on the conjunctiva. They are harmless and not uncommon. They occur more often when exposed to high levels of UV light, so always wear sunglasses outside when required.
