adding on to my home the roof is 4/12 when i installed the rafters they match at the eve but are low at the pk

Do they meet on both eaves? If the do, doesn't seem like its a 4/12. If they don't meet on both eaves, the span length is too short.

When I built my house, both gable trusses matched perfectly, the interior trusses over hung 3/4". Could not figure it out for the life of me. Different situation I know, but sometimes things are strange.

Contact the contractor (if you have one) the lumber yard where these were purchased or the truss company. Ask for the specs for the trusses and go from there. Good luck.
